Welcome!

Juliet's grandparents, family, and friends often ask about her and what we have been up to, so this blog will hopefully allow them to feel like they're spending "days with juliet" along with us, even when they can't be here in person. 

I spent some time thinking about what picture to choose for the inaugural blog post and settled on this one because Juliet just looks so cute.  Although, frankly, I haven't found any pictures yet where she doesn't look cute!  The picture was taken by my dad, Terry, when we went to his house for a BBQ for my birthday on June 18th.  It's one of my dad's favourite pictures of her.

Juliet is wearing a super cute summer romper given to her by her great uncle and aunt, Norbert and Suzanne.

I guess I should come up with a mission statement of sorts so that we're all on the same page about what you will see and read when you visit this blog. 

So here goes...

MISSION STATEMENT

I intend to use this blog as a diary for our adventures with Juliet.  I'll post pictures and stories about what we've done and who we've seen.  I probably won't post every day - I've never done this blog thing before, so we'll see how it goes - so I'll try to post at least a couple of times per week. 

I'm assuming the only people reading this blog will be close family and a couple of friends (it will be rather boring for internet strangers) - so please feel free to post comments so that this doesn't end up being just a one way dialogue. 

Oh - she's woken up from her nap and is hiccuping now, so I have to say bye for now!
